Ownership

This web server hosts content owned by myself as well as others. If it is not obvious to you whom any content belongs feel free to ask.

The contents of the wiki are a special case: individual pages may be a mix of content written by myself as well as site visitors. The items in the gallery are also owned by many people but each album is labeled with who submitted it. I cannot possibly police all contributions to verify the contributor in fact is the owner of the content. If you come across content you suspect to be a copyright violation let me know.

License

All my content is © 1998 - 2010 Lorrin Nelson. I intend to release all my (non-personal) content under a Creative Commons (CC) license. If it's already licensed it'll be marked as such, normally with a link in the footer. Most of the time it'll be the Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 2.0 license. Although the logos all look the same the particular license may vary so you'll have to either read the RDF data or follow the link.

If you want to use content that appears to not (yet) be licensed it can't hurt to ask.

All contents of the wiki are available under a Creative Commons (CC) license. This means that if you contribute to the wiki you retain copyright to your contribution but that you irrovocably grant permission to share it under the terms of the Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 2.0 license. This license will soon be changed to a Wiki License which makes clear that it is the Wiki which should be attributed rather than the (difficult to determine) individual authors.

For now the gallery is all personal photos and none of it is under a Creative Commons license. In the future I hope to add artwork and such and will label that content as being under a Creative Commons license.

Standards

To my knowledge my pages are fully XHTML 1.1, CSS, WAI AAA, and 508 standards compliant. The wiki pages are not; that should be fixed in the next release of the wiki engine.
