Nissan Maxima SE+
1997, 82,xxx miles, $3900
Below are more and bigger photos for our Nissan Maxima SE ad
- Black / metallic dark green
- 5 speed MANUAL transmission
- Bose sound system, CD + cassette
- Sun roof
- Sport trim (16" mag wheels, spoiler) combined with
- Luxury trim (leather seats, both sides heated, rosewood instrument panel)
- Cruise control on leather-wrapped steering wheel
Not counting my Triumph TR-3 40 years ago, this is the most deluxe, most muscle car I've ever had: 3.0 litre dual overhead cam (24 valves) fuel-injected V6 with 190 hp. Mileage is low because I worked from home
after retiring, wife shops in other car. Selling now because we need
a new station wagon for move to be near grandchildren.
2nd owner, both adults.
No accidents, nothing wrong.
Payment in cash (or else we have to go to your bank).
Serious offers only.
There are dings and scratches, I sat down with a rat-nose pliers in my rear pocket and put tear in the driver's seat that's small, but I don't know how to fix it.
We have all service records -- us and the prior owner.
Give yourself some time to check everything out if you
come over.

THE PHOTOS
First, an overview from 3 corners.

2nd corner:

3rd & last corner:

Moving from exterior to Interior overviews and instrument panel:

Turning from interior overviews to the instrument panel . . .

The
heater temp (red and blue triangles) and AUTO setting are better than
on any car we've ever had, including our new one -- set the temp in
winter, and, as soon as the engine can put any heat at all into the
outside air, the system comes on by itself at full blast. As the
engine heats up and the interior temp rises, the fan automatically
quiets down. You can't do it any faster or better than this,
except for switching on the heated seats, which is up to you.

Manual xmsn, remember.

The engine compartment, sunroof, and then we're done.

Notice
the stick to prop up the hood -- Nissan dealer asked $400 to replace
the two hydraulic hood lifters whose springs have worn out (see back by
the hinge). We went for a garden stick.

End engine, have a look at sunroof from inside & out.

The sunroof tips up for quiet ventilation, was well as sliding completely back.

On the passenger side visor are the buttons for a built-in electric garage door opener.
One more:

Rear
deck speakers, larger than you can fit into a door, and using the trunk
as the enclosure air volume -- that's one reason why the Nissan's sound
beats our new car, a Jetta wagon.
Yeah, well, too
many photos, but decide if this is for you and don't fight
Northern Virginia's traffic if you don't need to.
Thanks,
