President Donald Trump has installed the head of the agency that has to decide whether to evict him from his Washington hotel.

Shortly after Trump’s inauguration, an Obama-appointed General Services Administration official named Norman Dong became acting administrator, according to an agency email obtained by POLITICO. Seven and a half hours later, Trump replaced Dong with Tim Horne, a Denver-based GSA official who had coordinated the agency’s transition with the Trump team, a second email showed.

Safely under Trump's control, the GSA fails to oppose him.  As I write this, Robin is calling me for dinner, and Trump has fired the FBI Director James Comey four years into a ten year term (9May2017).  How is railroading the GSA with a loyalist in your own pocket any different from railroading the FBI with you own loyalist?   We get the government we teach them they can give us.

GSA contracting officer Kevin Terry wrote that . . . the lease is valid because Trump moved his interests in the building to a revocable trust, which is being managed by Trump's oldest sons and other associates. Trump is the sole beneficiary of that trust.

But sir, your lease states, "No member or delegate to Congress, or elected official of the Government of the United States or the Government of the District of Columbia, shall be admitted to any share or part of this Lease, or to any benefit that may arise therefrom; provided, however, that this provision shall not be construed as extending to any Person who may be a shareholder or other beneficial owner of any publicly held corporation or other entity, if this Lease is for the general benefit of such corporation or other entity."
