Recently my husband and I relocated from Seattle to NYC. Mostly we moved for adventure. The catalyst for our move was more practical, however; Girts accepted a job at the Trader Joe’s that just opened near Union Square. Serendipitously, I applied and was accepted to the PhD program in English Education at NYU. As you can imagine, this relocation brings about many changes. I created this blog to chronicle some of those changes and also share some of the adventures we have while getting to know our new city.
